手織り体験はいかがでしょうか？花街・上七軒、北野天満宮など京の街の観光と共に楽しむ京都伝統工芸
工房のすぐ近くには花街・上七軒や北野天満宮も徒歩圏内なので、京の街を観光しながら、京の伝統に触れる体験という観光もいかがでしょうか。
工房では、事前申し込み制で体験ワークショップを開催しています。
手織りはもちろん、糸を巻いてのランプシェードなど気軽に参加いただけるメニューも。また、実演を含めた工房見学も行なっております。
（工房見学だけでも受け付けておりますが、全てのワークショップに工房見学が含まれます。）
一度に２名・４名で織ることができる大きな織機があります。伝統工芸士でもある熟練職人が心をこめて手ほどきしますので、初めての方でも楽しく綴織の世界を体験して頂けますので、ご興味ある方はお気軽にご参加ください。
Let's enjoy a special experience in Kyoto
Our studio has looms ones which can be used by 2 – 4 people at the same time.
This studio is near the Kamishichiken maiko district and Kitano-Tenmangu shrine, so you can also visit these famous sightseeing spots on foot from the studio.
Please make a reservation for our workshops in advance.

約10cm×10cmのコースターを織ります。所要時間 約180分（3時間）
そのなかであなたの感性を表現してみましょう。代々受け継がれてきた技術や道具に触れることで、西陣の伝統を感じていただけます。織り上げたコースターを額装（別料金）していただくこともできます。
Coaster Making
You can weave a 10cm×10cm coaster . Express your own unique sense of beauty with a 10cm×10cm woven textile.You will sample the traditions of Tsuzure-ori through weaving with the loom and the tools handed down for centuries.
You can create your own original textile coaster with our skilled craftspeople’s useful advice.
It is possible that your hand-made coaster is framed as a perfect art work.

作成の流れ
①お好みの色を2つ選ぶ（職人が中間色などを選びます）
②使う糸を巻く
③織り進める（職人が随時フォローを行います）
④グラデーション部分なども丁寧に指導
⑤最後に糸の処理を行って、完成
⑥完成
最初に工房の説明やつづれ織りとこの工房がよくわかる動画をご覧いただきます。コースターに使う色は選んでいただいたものをベースに複数の色を使うので、あなただけのオリジナルのコースターが完成します。完成するまで職人が丁寧に指導するのでご安心ください。

ランプシェード作り
織るタイプと、糸を巻くタイプと 2種類の体験を準備しています。「木枠」（織り準備の過程で代々使用されてきた木製の道具）を使用します。
織るランプシェード
約15cm×40cmの布を織ります。
鮮やかな極彩色の単色糸や、より合わせて微妙な色合いを出した混色糸、合わせて約300色の絹糸をご用意しております。代々受け継がれてきた織機や道具を使って織っていただくことで、西陣の伝統を感じられます。色づかいや技法においては、職人と相談しながら＋αの工夫を楽しみましょう。最後に織り上がった布を木枠に巻き付け、LED電球（別料金）を装着すれば完成です。
Weaving type / Lampshade making
You can enjoy weaving a 15cm×40cm textile. We prepare a beautiful range of 300 colors of silk threads for you. You will experience the tradition of Tsuzure-ori through weaving with the loom and the tools handed down for centuries.
With useful advice on the weaving techniques and color combination from our skilled craftspeople, you can create your own unique work.
After finishing the woven textile, wrap it around the wooden frame and attach an LED bulb to it to finish the piece.
You can enjoy the work as a tabletop lamp, and if you need, we can attach the necessary parts to enable you to use it as a wall-mounted lamp as well.

巻くランプシェード
鮮やかな極彩色の絹糸を約150色を使います。
お好みの色の絹糸を何色か選び、木枠に巻き付け、最後にLED電球（別料金）を装着して完成となります。
Reeling threads type / Lampshade making
Beautiful silk threads of about 150 different colors and kiwaku wooden frames are prepared for this workshop. Kiwaku is one of the traditional wooden tools used in the process of weaving. Reel threads of your favorite colors on the wooden frame and attach an LED bulb to complete your work. You can enjoy the work as a tabletop lamp, and if you need, we can attach the necessary parts to enable you to use it as a wall-mounted lamp as well.

アクセサリー作り
自分で織った絹織物で、世界にひとつのアクセサリーを作ってみませんか？
お好きな色の絹糸を選んでいただき13cm×3cmの布を織っていただき、そのあと職人と一緒に仕立て作業をしてアクセサリーに仕上げます。ご自分にぴったりの色を織物のアクセサリーに作り上げる、ほかにはない制作体験です。
※ピアス / イヤリング / キーホルダー / ストラップ からひとつ選んで作成いただきます。
Accessory making
You can enjoy hand-weaving a 13cm×3cm textile with silk threads of your favorite colors, and making an original accessory with the textile. Our studio’s craftspeople kindly support you. (It’s also nice to use gold or silver threads when weaving.)
This is a unique and special workshop to create a beautiful textile accessory of colors you want.
